If you are a member of Disney Movie Rewards, be sure to check your email, since they just sent out their monthly newsletter with free points at the bottom. Simply click on the link at the end of the newsletter and points will be yours. I got a whopping four points.
I got a link in my email from Kellogg’s Family Rewards offering me 200 points the next time that I logged in. It only came to one of the two accounts that I monitor, so it may be targeted, but I guess it can’t hurt to try.
Kellogg’s Family Rewards: 200 Points?
What’s odd is that the link indicates that I’m getting this because of inactivity. I don’t buy Kellogg’s products too often, so they clearly have “activity” separated into two different buckets: activity earned through purchases and freebies. So they’re giving me more freebies because I only earn free points? Cool.
My Coke Rewards, or whatever the program is called now, isn’t what it once was, but they do have interesting gigs every now and then. Enter Bracket Refresh 2018.
Bracket Refresh 2018
Games based on the NCAA tournament are always fun, and Coke is offering up prizes that don’t even require you to fill out brackets. Rather, enter the game by scanning a code from a participating product and, depending on how many games your chosen team wins in the Sweet 16 or later, you’ll get a prize, ranging from a free soda to a Visa Gift Card. You’ll also be entered into a drawing for $20,000. Pretty cool. If you’re still a soda drinker, this promotion offers a little something extra.
Don’t know if anyone still collects these, but just in case, here’s a freebie.
If you use it, PLEASE leave a note in the comments so others don’t waste their time. Thanks!
Question: Why do smoke detector batteries only fail between 2 am and 4 am? Is it a law or something?
Ibotta is one of my favorite shopping apps. It’s simple: After you finish your shopping trip, check the site to see if any of the groceries that you are buying are offering rebates. If they are, just scan your receipt and presto! Money appears in your account.
Earning Ibotta Cash with Freebies
One of the categories that Ibotta frequently showcases is produce. Every week or so, they’ll offer at least one vegetable or fruit that gives you a rebate for buying it. We’re not talking about brands, here. Rather, it’s a rebate on simply buying a product. This week, for instance, is asparagus and sweet potatoes. Buy either of them and they’ll give you 25 cents. They, of course, think that you are going to buy in bulk. You, of course, know better. They’re offering you cash back for any purchase quantity. If you become the first person in the world to buy a single stalk of asparagus, you come out ahead. Go ahead, enjoy your asparagus.
And if you’re not signed up for the site already, I’d appreciate if you joined through my link. We each get money if you do so.
It’s every other Monday, and you know what that means: Disney Movie Rewards has five free points for you.
Disney Movie Rewards Trivia
It’s easy. Every two weeks, DMR puts out a few trivia questions. It doesn’t matter whether you get them right. Just keep clicking answers and they’ll give you five points for the effort.
Top Cash Back is a cash back shopping site, meaning that when you access merchants through the site, they pay TCB something who, in turn, shares the commission with you. It works nicely for everyone involved. I’ve occasionally had to chase them to get them to credit a purchase, but they are almost always one of the two or three highest payers.
Top Cash Back: An Extra $2.50
Through tomorrow, Top Cash Back is offering $2.50 just for making a single purchase of $10 or more. That’s a 25% rebate right off the bat, so you’re already making money. Just be sure to register ahead of time.
If you’re not a member of already, I kindly request that you use my referral link, and we’ll both get something back when you sign up. Thanks!
Swagbucks has brought back one of its more popular contests, Swago. It’s like bingo, but with swag.
Swagbucks Brings Back Swago
For those of you who are fans of Swagbucks, make sure to check out their Swago contest. Here’s how it works. They give you a bingo board except, instead of numbers, each square has an activity. Complete the activity and they’ll give you the square. Form a bingo win and you’ll get Swag Bucks (SB; their proprietary currency, worth a penny each) as well as a spin on their wheel of prizes (I got “double points on my next search.”). It’s a little tougher than usual this time around, since the center square is to buy a gift card from MyGiftCardsPlus, but it could be an easy way to round up your Starbucks account.
Dollar Shave Club through Swagbucks (Profit!)
If you need razors and want to earn some SB, a quick way to do so is through Dollar Shave Club. They’re offering 2,000 SB ($20) to get the starter kit and another 1,500 to stay subscribed for two months. The starter kit is $5.00. I use Dollar Shave Club and have been happy with them.
If you haven’t signed up for Swagbucks, I’d appreciate it if you used my link. We’ll both get something. Thank you!
